Introduction
IEEE-BPIT is a technical society which aims to spread technical awareness amongst Students. It helps them to develop their technical skills, to give a professional outlook, and to encourage them to participate in various technical competitions held in various Universities. IEEE members engage in project making activities where they master various skillsets through project building practices and aim to write research papers.
Objectives
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) BPIT chapter is a professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of students. IEEE BPIT has several objectives, including
- Advancing technology: IEEE BPIT aims to promote the development and advancement of technology where it’s student members can work in any field and learn.
- Educating members: IEEE BPIT provides opportunities for student members to enhance their professional development and education through conferences, seminars, workshops, and other events
- Ethics and professionalism: IEEE BPIT promotes ethical behavior and professionalism among its student members and the wider community, and works to uphold the highest standards of integrity in all aspects of technology development and use.
- Collaboration and networking: IEEE BPIT provides opportunities for students to collaborate with other student chapters, engage in networking, connect with industry professionals etc.
- Project development and Research: IEEE BPIT provides opportunities for student members to work on projects under it’s umbrella and provide a path and guidance for them to write papers.

He has more than 17 years of experience and has published various research papers in reputed international and national journals and conferences. His area of interest are Grid, Cloud, Fog, IOT, Machine Learning etc.

Dr. Monika Arora: Associate Professor, Department of Information Technology. She has been the faculty coordinator of IEEE BPIT since it’s induction. She has more than 20 years of experience. She has published more than 25 research papers in reputed international and national journals and conferences. Her areas of research are Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Sentiment Analysis etc.

Dr. Shweta Taneja: Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. She has been the faculty coordinator of IEEE BPIT since it’s induction and has published more than 60 research papers in reputed international and national journals and conferences. Her areas of research are Data mining, Data warehousing, Machine Learning, Data Analytics etc.
