The function was attended by faculty and dignitaries and addressed by respected Chairman Sir, Shri Vinod Vats ji. His address touched the issues of environment conservation and Indian aspects of G20 deliberations during the year of India’s presidency of the summit of the group of 20 for the year 2023. He emphasized the contribution of Indian heritage of culture and knowledge in the world heritage where our country is very strong, though materially we have to work harder to compete with the other G20 nations.
This was the first time the BPIT Chairman Sir addressed the young students in a class room scenario on a very live subject, concerning all living beings ( Prakriti). Sh Vats ji’s clarity on the practical aspects of the impending Climate Change was highly appreciated and responded to by the students and faculty in huge applause. We wish more such occasions for one-to-one academic interaction of the Chairman with students are forthcoming in future.

Yoga Week-22
NAME OF THE EVENT Yoga Week-2022
Title: “Yog Everyday For everyone”
Date: 15th June 2022- 21 June 2022
Organiser: NSS_Cell Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology
“Yoga” means “to join” or “to unite”. The practice of yoga controls the consciousness of the individual by bringing harmony between the mind and the body. Lord Krishna preached in Bhagavad Gita “Samatvam yoga uchyate”. We can achieve this objective through continuous effort of physical and mental yoga practice. On a physical level, the methods include various yoga postures or ‘asanas’ that aim to keep the body healthy. Mental techniques include breathing exercises or ‘pranayama’ and meditation or ‘dhyana’ to discipline the mind.
Keeping this in mind the NSS UNIT Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology took the initiative to organise yoga Week from 15th June 2022- 21 June 2022(International Yoga Day) on the theme of “Yoga Everyday for Everyone”.
