Tribute to the Founder Chairman

Late Shri Atam Prakash Kaushik Ji
(1945-2022)

“Great men are not born great, they grow great”. One such person was our late chairman, Shri Atam Prakash Kaushik ji born on 25th September 1945. He was the President of Bhartiya Brahmin Charitable Trust (BBCT) and also the founder Chairman of Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (founded by BBCT in 2005).

Under the dynamic leadership of our Chairman sir, the journey of BPIT started in 2007 with four branches of B. Tech and Master of Business Administration. He was renowned for implementing qualitative and quantitative changes in the institute, which led to the expansion of the institution and the provision of high-quality education to the students. All the B.Tech curricula were accredited by NBA during his chairmanship and BPIT was given the status of ‘A’ grade Institute of GGSIPU as well as A+ grade by SFRC. The aura of his ever-smiling face and sparkling eyes worked as a driving force for those working in the organisation. The quality maintained in BPIT speaks volumes about the Founder Chairman, late Shri Atam Prakash Kaushik ji. As an accomplisher, he is a role model not only to his administrative staff and faculty but also to his students.

He was a widely recognised social entrepreneur, educationalist and philanthropist who generously donated to various noble causes. Despite being a busy and highly successful businessman, he always found enough time and had the passion to serve the society. He was continuously involved in the management of various organisations performing social services to humankind. He was also a trustee of the Maharaja Agarsen Hospital and an associate member of Sant Parmanand Hospital.

Our Chairman sir was a loveable, intellectual personality, a master planner and an excellent organiser who always took personal interest in resolving every issue. He believed that success is determined by action and hard work. His personality and administrative acumen have been imprinted in all the fields.  He held several sifnificant honorary offices like the Chairperson of Hindustan Mercantile, Association Dispute Committee; Member of the Managing Committee of internationally known Shri Gauri Shankar Temple, Chandni Chowk; Member of the Managing Committee of Sanskrit Vidyalaya, Ram Dal, Dariba etc. He has also remained President of Janta College Bawal (Haryana) for many years.

The most remarkable homage we can ever pay this architect of our institute could be to emulate his ideals and work toward realising his dreams. The staff and this institution salute the immortal soul. Let his vision, “to make every person a success and no person a failure”, inspire us to follow in his footsteps.
